·          Ormonde Castle & Tudor Manor House—located in the heart of the town, well worth a visit to step back into history.

·          Heritage Centre—just 2 minutes walk from the hotel, a wealth of local history including documents artifacts & photographs of the town and area.

·          Curraghmore House - magnificent home of the Marquis of Waterford & his ancestors since 1170.  Outstanding Arboretum and a unique shell grotto.  The interior of the house contains exceptionally fine plasterwork and is well worth a visit.

·          Horseracing—Tipperary is the birthplace for some of the world’s most successful bloodstock.   Choose from Clonmel, Thurles, Tipperary Racecourses as well as Gowran Park in Kilkenny & Tramore in County Waterford.
