salmon runs. The Salmon & Trout seasons traditionally
open on 1st February and 17th March respectively and

- magnificent home of the Marquis of Waterford & his
ancestors since 1170. Outstanding Arboretum and a
unique shell grotto. The interior of the house contains
exceptionally fine plasterwork and is well worth a
visit.

Horseracing—Tipperary
is the birthplace for some of the world’s most
successful bloodstock. Choose from Clonmel, Thurles,
Tipperary Racecourses as well as Gowran Park in Kilkenny
& Tramore in County Waterford.
